This color is based on the delicate Moon Flower that only blooms at night. Bats and other nocturnal creatures eat its nectar. A "beautiful blue" is the best way to describe Moon Flower, a combination ink of too high quality dyes, mixed to a perfectly balanced saturation; not too light so as to appear washed out; not so heavy as to be overshadowed by sheen; just enough to be rich and to stand out by its own right. The hue of Moon Flower sits on the warmer side of blue, with light violet variations in heavier writing and ample shading in all pen and ink combinations.

Night owl is based upon an owl eyes through the trees at night. This exquisite orange is highly saturated with a gold sheen on good quality fountain pen paper. This ink is fairly wet writing and very well behaved in almost any fountain pen.

Red lightning is one of our most vibrant reds to date. This color resembles the electric discharge which can appear as a vivid red lightning. This type of occurrence can also be called sprites. This ink is a very wet writing ink with shimmer. It is a shading ink with no sheen at all.

Cherry Blossom Dream is a soft shading pastel pink that inspired by a cool spring nighttime breeze, gently shaking loose the blossoms from a cherry tree, from within the deep sleep of a dream. Cherry Blossom Dream is one of Van Dieman's extremely low saturation inks, producing some amazing shading. This extraordinarily light pink shades from almost nothing to a blushing, but still light tone. Cherry Blossom Dream also has a fairly low surface tension, which allows it to flow moderately wetly, despite its low saturation

Dawn is inspired and highly representational of the last lingering moments of night, just before the sun bursts triumphantly over the horizon, when refracted and reflected light bounce and dance blindingly on the clouds and sky. Dawn is a supersaturated ink with a bright, hot pink undertone, almost overpowered by a golden sheen that mottles and blends with the pink underneath to create an array of orange hues, much like the sky at dawn.
