There are many kinds of products of tea in our lives, mostly are instant beverages. But as long as you slow down, drinking tea with good dry tea leaves and brewing technics, you can taste
the deeper flavour of the tea.
The bitter orange tea is the only pressed tea in Miaoli County in Taiwan. According to legend, the Hakka people here would dig out the pulp of bitter orange that was enshrined to the gods. Then mix the tea with pule and stuff them back into the peel. And bake with charcoal fire. Slowly mature over time, waiting for the flavours to blend perfectly. Use a hammer to smash and make tea.
