Lennon Tool Bar - 30ml Ink - Guardian Beasts - Bixi

Guardian Beasts refer to the loyal protectors often seen in Taiwanese traditional beliefs. Some guard temples, others preserve history, some calm strong winds, and others have served under different religious beliefs. These guardian beasts silently safeguard people across Taiwan.

Although Bixi has the appearance of a turtle, it is a child of the dragon. Unlike its eight siblings, Bixi excels at carrying heavy stone tablets, silently protecting inscriptions across the vast expanse of time.

Lennon Tool Bar was founded in 2014 at Tamsui, Taiwan. Initially they produced and promoted the art and craft of Indigo Dyeing, a business that flourished a century ago when Taiwan exported a considerable amount of “doroai” — or the raw material of colourants used in Indigo Dyeing — to the Japanese Empire.
