Hobonichi Techo - Tragen Flat Pouch - A6
We created a pouch to store the Hobonichi Techo HON. The L-shape zipper opens the pouch extra wide for easy access, but doesn’t have a gusset and is flat so it looks extremely simple and smart. We aimed for a casual beauty that is effortlessly cool. This pouch is nice and light and is made with the same material as the Tragen cover, which uses a soft nylon with an elegant sheen.

It snugly fits the A6 size HON, but it isn’t too tight so you don’t have to worry about the edge of the HON and the zipper clashing.
There’s a pocket on the interior where you can store small bits of stationery like memo pads or sticky notes.
The zipper pull has a simple leather part. The ring at the top doubles as a handle when opening and closing the zipper, and also allows you to attach your favorite key rings.
There is a “handwrite” tag made with leather attached.

Well made and useful
Whilst it's quite pricey, it is very well made and does exactly what it it intended to. My techo fits perfectly inside it with a leather cover on and a fountain pen in the holder. I bought it so I can carry my techo around nside a bag without worrying about damaging my pen, which is not Mont Blanc, but is nice enough to deserve being looked after. The pouch lies flat when empty; it has some rigidity. It has a leather branding tag and a leather tassle on the zip. There's no external pocket. There is one pocket inside which could hold pens or a notebook separately from the techo in the main compartment. The inside is shiny cotton and, as with the outside, the stitching is strong. All in all, enough quality and style to justify the price, especially when on sale.
