Hobonichi Techo - A5 Cousin Cover - Letter

This is an envelope-style cover with a string-and-button closure, titled Letter. The design features a triangular flap and a combination of two contrasting fabrics with different textures.

A techo can feel like a letter to yourself. We created this cover with the hope that you’ll enjoy quiet moments of reflection—like writing a letter to your own heart. Even the action of winding and unwinding the string to open and close the cover is meant to be savored, as part of a mindful, personal ritual.

This cover combines a rich, smoky gray polyurethane material with an acrylic fabric made in Spain. Enjoy the contrast and the distinct feel of each texture.

The round button and the ends of the string are made from genuine leather. The deep khaki string looks elegant whether wrapped simply or crossed stylishly as you wind it around.

When you unwind the string and lift the triangular flap, this is what the inside looks like. The string is attached to the cover itself.

The pen hook holds a pen by its clip, while still maintaining the cover’s clean, refined silhouette when closed.
