A new favourite pen
This Carousel pen has top value and style. Beautiful colour casing, attractive nib, overall has been designed with quality in mind. Only slight detraction is that at the cap top and pen end you can see the rough end cut off from the plastic injection moulding, but I'm not complaining for this price.

Good Value Pen
The Ferris Wheel Carousel is on a par with Kaweko Perkeo and Online Slope in terms of weight and general feel, though slightly smaller than both, lengthwise and in diameter. Doesn't feel super tough, it's very light, but more than adequate for its purpose and in relation to its comparatively modest price. I have no concerns about its ability to do the job without falling apart, and I am confident that it would stand up to living in the bag of a busy student. I'm currently using mine with the converter and find ink flow (Messenger Midnight Blue ink) is to my liking, neither dry, nor wet, just right for me with the medium nib. The nib, I've no idea who makes it, is maybe slightly on the fine side of medium, and provides some feedback, though it is not scratchy - and I don't usually use expensive paper. On better paper it's quite smooth. I find the cap quite tough to remove and replace, but it will probably ease with use. I can recommend it for everyday office/school use, and it's good value for money.
