The Fabulously talented and Ranger Signature Designer Dina Wakley will be returning to Art from the Heart in March 2018 to teach four amazing workshops! We will be flying Dina over from Phoenix, USA ready with all of her brand new releases from CHA for you (more details on them once they are announced in January)!

For the many of you that have been taught by Dina already you will know how great her workshops are and that they are not to be missed if you have the chance to attend. The workshops are jam packed with techniques and tips from Dina ready for you to take home and master!

For all of the workshops please bring your Art Journal, Black Stabilo All Pencil, Black & White Journal Pens & Paint Brushes (If you don't have any of these we stock them in our shop).

All other equipment, paint, stamps, stencils and substrates and tools will be provided
We will be providing Hot & Cold Drinks and snacks during the workshops for you to enjoy.

If ordering from outside of the EU there will be VAT to pay on your booking. We will contact you at the time of booking with details on how to pay the VAT.

Workshop places are non refundable, but if you are unable to attend we will endeavour to re-sell your place for you. If we are able to sell on your place will will issue you with an AFTH workshop credit.

Unfortunately AFTH Loyalty cards, Workshop credits & AFTH gift vouchers can not be used as paymet for Dina Wakley workshops

Thursday 22nd March - Organised Chaos with Dina Wakley - 10-4pm

Join me as we take abstract paintings from "hotel paintings" to dynamic works of art. We will move beyond simple compositions. In the morning, we'll move quickly and in the afternoon, we will slow down and develop one single painting through many layers and incarnations.

Friday 23rd March - Getting Down the Story (Art Journaling) with Dina Wakley - 10-4pm

Let's dig deep and focus on getting our stories down on our pages. We will use many mixed-media techniques and writing exercises to tell our stories, to make our mark, to spill open. We will work in our journals and create pages that resonate with feeling.

Saturday 24th March - Abstract Flower Painting & Book Binding with Dina Wakley - 10-4pm

I have recently started painting fun, abstract flowers, and I want to paint them with you! I'll show you how I paint the flowers, and then we will sew a little book together to "keep" our flowers in. Bring your journal for practicing.

Sunday 25th March - Transparent Layers with Dina Wakley - 10-4pm

Join me and let's play around with transparent layers in our artwork. We'll add transparent layers to journal pages, face paintings, even Media Board structures. We'll create transparency with gel prints, tissues, and even acrylic paint, to create beautiful art.
